How much freezer do I need?
Roughly one cubic foot per 35–40 lbs of vacuum-packed meat. 1/8 Beef: about about 2 cu ft. 1/4 Beef: about about 3–4 cu ft. 1/2 Beef: about about 6–7 cu ft. Full Beef: about about 12–14 cu ft. 1/2 Pig: about about 1–2 cu ft. Full Pig: about about 3–4 cu ft. When in doubt, size up.
